Hatch Grain Hide is an ??oily pull-up?? leather, it has a tight, compact fibre structure, increasing durability and longevity in wear. Starting life as a chrome-tanned leather, vegetable extracts are then re-tanned into the hide producing a soft and supple feel while upholding its durability. This process is more commonly known as a ??veg re-tan??, allowing the leather to take on an aged character without compromising its long-term performance.?
